Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9PM for 150 Hours. Electrical 1 will be an introduction to safety on the job, writing a job description, terms of the trade, basic electron theory, a review of math skills, DC Theory, energy and power, electrical conductors and wire sizes, batteries, magnets and magnetic fields. Also covered are the generation of electromotive force, basic understanding of motors and generators, introduction into the code book, grounding and practical wiring diagrams and switching. The Electrical Apprentice courses are designed to teach classroom theory and do not include hands on training.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9PM for 150 Hours. Electrical 2 will be a review of Electrical 1 and also covers series, parallel and series/parallel circuits, alternating current principals, AC theory, AC power, power factor and power factor corrections, and three phase services. Also covered are making use of tables in the code book, proper use of code book tables and formulas, and practice working on code questions in preparation for exams. The Electrical Apprentice courses are designed to teach classroom theory and do not include hands on training.

EL3
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9PM for 150 Hours. Electrical 3 will be a review of Electrical 1&2 and also a review of A/C theory, three phase calculations, series, parallel and their combinations, branch circuit calculations, feeder and service calculations and requirements, motor controls, low voltage systems and controls, review of Massachusetts code and Amendments, and learn various types of incandescent bases. The Electrical Apprentice courses are designed to teach classroom theory and do not include hands on training.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9PM for 150 Hours. Electrical 4 will be a review of Electrical 1, 2 & 3. It will also cover extensive code questions and code table review questions, review circuit problems for AC/DC and help prepare the apprentice for taking the electrical exam. The Electrical Apprentice courses are designed to teach classroom theory and do not include hands on training.

ELM5
Mondays & Wednesdays 6-9PM for 150 hours. This Master’s course is designed to include Electrical Contractors, Electrical Inspectors, and qualified Licensed Electricians. This course study will include AC/DC theory, leading and lagging circuits, DC and AC motors and controls, as well as demand factor calculations for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. National Electrical Code Review, estimating & Massachusetts Master & AMP; System Contractor, Business & Law, Feeder & Service Calculations, Electrical Bonding & Ground Path Theory. The Electrical Apprentice courses are designed to teach classroom theory and do not include hands on training.

Tuesday and Thursday from 6-9PM for 110 Hours. Introduction to Plumbing: 10 hour OSHA safety card, materials, tools and methods, valves and devices, residential blueprints, math and definitions.
