own vehicle or project. Students will
learn industry standard repair methods
in sheet metal repair and replacement,
plastic repair, paint preparation and
refinishing techniques. Tools and
equipment are provided, but students
are responsible for purchasing or
providing their own paint and materials (fillers, sandpaper, etc…).

Tuesday, 6–9 p.m. – 10 weeks This course is an introduction to learning the basics of CAD from conception to reality through the use of AutoCAD SolidWorks Software® and rapid prototyping. Students will learn methods employed by such companies as Harley–Davidson®, General Electric®, and Lego®. From the development of an idea, to original sketches to the final product, class participants will see ideas come to life. Students will be exposed to the industries best practices relating to mechanical dimensioning, 3D modeling and printing, extruding and revolving techniques, problem solving and reverse engineering.

Tuesdays 6-9 p.m. - 8 weeks In this cake decorating class you’ll learn hands-on techniques to create custom-designed cakes for various occasions. Students will learn skills like leveling cakes, crumb coating, and working with different frostings and fillings. Various piping techniques will be used to create intricate designs, flowers and themed cakes, as well as current trends and methods. Students will be required to bring in two eight inch cakes each week.
